First-of-its-kind Online Platform Gondola Launches Gondola Jobs to Connect Creatives and Their Work Directly to Hiring Managers
Gondola today announced Gondola Jobs, a new visual tool that connects content creators directly to top organizations that are hiring creative roles.
Gondola Jobs is a part of Gondola, a platform in which creatives can take credit for content on social media, access data on their work, cultivate new opportunities by marketing themselves, and find a support system made up of the top creators and brands in the social media space. The new Gondola Jobs system houses all of creators’ content alongside job opportunities, which helps job-seekers showcase their best work through their visual portfolio and hiring managers see the best candidates.
“By having all creative gigs and full-time job listings in one place on Gondola Jobs, we’re moving toward a world where creatives are hired for what they actually produce, not just what their resumes say,” said Jared Kleinstein, founder of Gondola and Fresh Tape Media creator agency, and former head of sports at Vine. “With the content and the opportunities being in the same place, we’ll see more rate and pay transparency and a better hiring process. This, along with future tools to pay creators directly, will in turn help make the creative and sports industries better and more equitable.”
Also introduced in this launch is “Prospects”, a new system that directs people toward a central destination if they’re interested in any sort of work opportunities with a specific company that may or may not have open roles. The system enables creators to specify their potential roles, desired employment type, and showcase examples of their content; companies and hiring managers can then access a database of strong candidates and their work.
Joining Gondola is free, and creators can add their work and start tracking stats for posts by simply adding TikTok, X, YouTube, Instagram or Facebook links into Gondola’s search box. A creator’s online portfolio is visual and available in one place, with a consistent and easy-to-navigate format.
Notably, Gondola’s platform provides current engagement metrics for each piece of content, such as views, likes, shares and comments across the supported social media platforms and allows aggregation of credits to anyone who worked on a project, including producers, social media managers, photographers, designers, clients, brand partners and more. Projects can also be tagged for improved searchability with data such as locations and specific keywords.
